BLEEP DREAMPORT HOW TO
Have any of you using the Bleep/DreamPort experienced this issue and figured out how to get all the adhesive off your nose? It is a miracle to me that the DreamPort adhesive doesn't seem to be causing me any problems (knock on wood)! I'm really afraid, though, that leaving adhesive on my skin day after day will cause overexposure and eventual irritation. There is only one specific band aid I can use. I know this seems like a very small thing, but I am highly sensitive to adhesive. I do suspect that my face oils are breaking down the adhesive in this weird way causing my problem. I have extremely oily skin, but I haven't had any trouble so far with the DreamPorts leaking for the 7-8 hours I sleep. It works okay, but my nose still remains pretty tacky basically all day.īefore putting on the DreamPorts in the evening I wash my face and wipe the bottom of my nose with witch hazel. The most luck I've had is to use the left over pieces of tape I cut from the DreamPort from the night before to press on and off the film hoping it will stick to the fresh adhesive on those little pieces. Washing my face or re-wiping with witch hazel doesn't seem to take it off. In the morning when I remove the DreamPort, a thin film of adhesive remains on my nose. I've been reading this board for a few month, but this is my first post. I chose not to since it's not about a review, but I'm sorry if I've made a newbie mistake. I wasn't sure if I should post this there. I've been following the Bleep/DreamPort mask review thread, but haven't seen my issue come up. I've been using the Bleep/DreamPort for almost a week, and I love it.
